Colostrum^® BS

Probiotic additive composed of a single Bacillus subtilis strain, presented in powder form for use in feed of broiler breeders, broilers and layer hens.

Colostrum® BS is indicated for control of pathogenic bacteria, mainly Clostridium perfringens, the causing agent of necrotic enteritis, thus, preventing the livestock loss of the chickens. Bacilli are passing bacteria, that is, they do not colonize any intestinal segment, since they do not have fimbriae which are necessary for adhesion to mucous membrane.

• Naturally resistant to chemical treatments of feeds;
• Triple-coated, which grants thermal resistance to high feed processing temperatures;

• Reduction of use of antimicrobials.

Indication

Continuous use in feed in all phases of rearing of broiler breeders, broilers and layer hens, with no withdrawal period.

• Modulation of the intestinal microbiota, favoring eubiosis;
• It contributes for better livestock indexes;
• Control of pathogenic bacteria, mainly Clostridium perfringens, the causing agent of necrotic enteritis.

• Sugarcane dry yeast
• Skimmed milk powder

Dose

100 to 500 g/t of feed.
