Vaccine | Auto-Vac®
Auto-Vac®
*For Breeders and Layer Hens
It is a customized vaccine developed in Biocamp laboratories to meet the specific needs of disease prevention on the farm (taylor made). It is prepared with the same infectious agent that is infecting the breeders and layer hens on the farm.
The vaccine is used as a therapeutic measure in affected animals. It promotes immunity and protection of the flock for future exposure to the same agent. An example is the AutoVac® Pasteurella, an autogenous inactivated oil vaccine against Pasteurellosis.
- Autologous strains, i.e., produced with the same agent that is causing the infectious disease in the farm.
- Regulation by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA)
- Rigorous quality control
- Reduced use of antimicrobials
- Decreased production losses
- Lower mortality
Indication
The autogenous vaccines are indicated when the commercial line vaccines do not confer adequate protection to the poultry. That is, when the disease is already present in the flock. Produced by Biocamp laboratories, they control the outbreak of the disease and promote the immunity of the flocks located in the same farm.
Dose
Apply 0.5 ml of the vaccine via intramuscular, which is equivalent to one dose.
Recommendation
Shelf life: 6 months maximum, conservation from 2 to 8ºC. The shelf life of the mother seed is 15 months.
Presentation
